A mission for greater justice

From Yale law to tenure-tracked professor – An international client was looking to pursue her academic career by attending a PhD program in the US, which was a necessary pre-requisite to obtain a full-time tenured post. Although she had great grades and a strong internship at the Supreme Court of her country, she had no narrative to speak of. Digging into to her profile, we discovered, through her work at the university, a topic that would not only inspire the law schools, but one which would tap into the fullest support of her recommenders and professors by highlighting their expertise. We transformed this goal into a sincere story aiming at academic work towards creating a more just legal system. She was eventually accepted to all her target programs at Yale, Harvard, Berkely, etc. and has already secured a full-time position as a tenure-tracked professor at the country’s number one law school.

Preparing for leadership

We collaborated with a large state-owned bank to devise with management a pre-MBA training program for their selected middle manager to prepare them for next-generation leadership. We created group sessions to allow each manager to explore their own strengths and goals, and collaborated with management to fit these goals into the bank’s greater overall mission and targets. We prepared the managers for the MBA environment while consulting them on their applications, and managing their own application schedules. We successfully placed every selected candidate of the Pre-MBA program in a prestigious MBA, and prepared them thoroughly to become future in-house leaders, with company support.

Homecoming to a stronger career

We worked with a sales manager who has a worked for a cosmetic firm, where she had moved up from retail salesperson to sales manager, and who wanted to return to Europe to be next to her family, and develop her career. We worked with her to explore realistic options, make the most of her strongest skills (team leadership and Japanese language niche) to help her make a move into a European consulting firm, in which she not only returned home and to a better job, but did so while more than doubling her salary.
