Yoshitoshi – The 100 Aspects of the Moon, Fox

Blue Fox Coaching was founded to provide story guidance businesses and individuals. The fox was chosen as our foundational animal, as an animal representing wisdom across many cultures, a guide, a lucky spirit which acts on the behalf of others.

Founder, Yaron Dahan

We chose the fox as our symbol because Blue Fox Coaching espouses similar values and goals as the mythical fox – we strive to act on behalf of our clients, guide them using our expertise and experience to most effectively deliver their messages.

In Japan, mythical foxes are called “kitsune”, and are messengers of the Shinto god Inari. Kitsune are guardian spirits who symbolize  long life and good luck, and who act as messengers on others’ behalf.

For the Celts the fox, or “sionnach” has always been a spiritual guide honored for its wisdom and swiftness. The Celts relied on the fox’s intimate knowledge of dark forests to guide them through the challenges of the world.

In  Lapland, the Sami people revere the Tulikettu, the giant magical fire fox which paints the sky with its tails to create  the aurora borealis, locally known as “revontulet” or “fox fires”.

In South-America, the Moche people of ancient Peru  believed the fox to be a mentally gifted warrior which uses its mind to fight.

We collaborate closely with out clients, guiding them through thorny processes, to help them tell their stories.
